Import of medication for personal use
Individual person without pharmaceutical license from the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare, can import medicines and medical related items within the restricted quantities.
As of September 1, 2020, we will return the whole shipment to the consignor if the shipment contains the items exceeding the restricted quantities (*1) without import customs process.

We would kindly ask your understanding not to order or request sending medication items exceeding the restricted quantities.
If you apply to MHLW or regional health bureau and obtain the pharmaceutical license, you can import medication exceeding the quantities.
In this case, we would also ask you to contact and inform DHL customer service contact center to that effect before the shipment arrives in Japan. Thank you.
